We are excited to welcome Edwin Caparaz to the WAYPOINT team.
Edwin brings over 17 years of experience in the video game industry with backgrounds in Business Development, Developer Relations, and Operations.
As the Developer A&R Manager at EA, Edwin vetted and secured 3rd party titles. One of his early successes was collaborating with developer CRYTEK on the original concept for CRYSIS. During his time at EA, Edwin also negotiated distribution deals, including a packaged goods deal with Valve Software.
After his time with EA, Edwin acted as a business development consultant for many different video game publishers. Edwin also served as Studio GM for Iron Galaxy Studios, where he managed an indie game publishing label and drafted publishing agreements for 3rd party indie titles. Moreover, Edwin’s experience at Iron Galaxy included several successful pitches for large-scale projects.

Through his experience with indie publishing, IP assessment, and business development, Edwin is sure to push WAYPOINT into a promising future.
