MISSION

Do you want to be part of an exciting company focused on the video game industry? We are looking for an experienced Senior 2D Character Designer to craft exceptional character art that resonates with audiences. You will work closely with the creative team to conceptualize, design, and finalize characters for a wide range of projects, ensuring they meet the highest artistic and technical standards.

YOU

• Conceptualize and create unique, visually compelling 2D characters, including turnarounds, expressions, and detailed costume designs.

• Collaborate with art directors, animators, and other team members to ensure character designs align with project vision and gameplay requirements.

• Develop quick thumbnails and sketches to iterate ideas, followed by detailed renders that capture personality and style.

• Research and gather references to inform and inspire your designs, staying updated on current industry trends.

• Adapt your work to a range of styles, from highly realistic to stylized or cartoon-like, depending on the project's needs.

• Prepare and organize files for handoff to production teams, ensuring all layers and elements are clean and usable.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional experience in character design

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent tools, with strong skills in rendering, anatomy, and color theory.

• A versatile portfolio showcasing a range of character designs, styles, and techniques.

• Strong understanding of storytelling through design, including how characters' appearances reflect their personalities and backstories.

• Experience creating designs for animation or 3D modeling, with an understanding of how 2D designs translate into other formats.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Good English (written and spoken).

• Applications without a portfolio demonstrating your work will not be considered.
