MISSION

We are looking for a skilled Senior 2D VFX Animator to create visually stunning effects that bring dynamic energy to characters, environments, and gameplay. You will play a key role in crafting animations that enhance the storytelling, atmosphere, and impact of the creative projects.

YOU

• Design and animate high-quality 2D visual effects, including explosions, energy bursts, elemental effects, spell animations, and environmental effects.

• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure VFX aligns with the project’s style

• Develop concept sketches and storyboards to visualize effects before animating.

• Refine VFX animations to achieve smooth, fluid motion that feels engaging and impactful.

• Adapt your animation style to match different project aesthetics, ranging from stylized effects to more realistic designs.

• Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in 2D animation and VFX, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

• Assist in establishing and maintaining VFX pipelines, workflows, and best practices for the team.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional experience in 2D VFX animation

• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects or equivalent tools.

• Strong understanding of motion, timing, color theory, and how VFX integrates into characters and environments.

• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing a range of 2D VFX animations, including effects like fire, water, magic, and explosions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multiple departments.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Good English (written and spoken).
