WAYPOINT designed the game disc art and box packaging design for Skybound’s Slime Rancher. Slime Rancher puts you in the shoes of Beatrix LeBeau, a young Earthling who travels light years away to explore a mysterious planet filled with colorful jiggly slimes! In creating this promotional art for the game packaging, we strove to capture the bouncy light-hearted tone of the game. The game cover art showcases a cacophony of different slimes ranging in colors, shapes, and expressions. On the flip side, we feature our protagonist Beatrix and a selection of gameplay screen captures of the many different environments that players will explore. To round it off, we have the art design for the game disc. We kept it fun and simple and had the iconic Pink Slime cover the entire front of the disc. Creating game packaging art that captures the tone of your game is essential to deliver a strong first impression on potential players!
